When Cindy’s name comes to mind, one can only think of the enthusiasm, passion, dedication, and the caring way she has always had about her. Her 30 year career has spanned bedside hospital obstetrical nursing, office nursing practice, and then women and family nurse practitioner.  As a trained family nurse practitioner, she was able to expand her scope of knowledge beyond women’s specific health concerns and was able to see the more holistic approach that is needed for all patients – the well and the striving to be well.  As her supervising physician for 15 years, I had the pleasure of seeing how Cindy cared for patients every day – both from a clinical and technical perspective and from the critical human touch perspective.

As Cindy embarks on the next phase of her journey in helping others, she is exceedingly well prepared.  Her passion for helping others achieve wellness is palpable, visual, and is readily heard in her voice.  Her personal fight to regain wellness following her Lyme disease diagnosis was challenging for her and her family.  But in typical Cindy fashion, she used her own pain as a motivation for helping others avoid or overcome similar events. Cindy is already a fabulous wellness advocate, and she undoubtedly will help many more people and their families in her new venture.

“Ms. Cindy Kennedy and I worked side by side for thirteen years at Baystate OB Gyn Group and I can attest to her delivery of quality healthcare to the women of western Massachusetts. Cindy was a tireless advocate for her patients, providing not only comprehensive gynecological care but often times primary care as well.  She was a pleasure to work with: her vivacious personality always brightened a clinic session, with laughter bubbling out from patient’s rooms. Her patients’ loyalty, and profound disappointment about her departure, speaks to the positive impact Cindy has made in so many women’s live.  I am confident that Cindy will bring this same energy, enthusiasm, compassion, and humor to her next venture.  I wish her only the best with her future endeavors and look forward to hearing about her continued successes.”

“Kerah is always pleasant and has a way of making patients feel at ease. She is caring and compassionate and truly takes the time to listen to her patients. As a practitioner, she is top notch. She has a passion for nutrition and a desire to help patients achieve their nutritional goals. Kerah has experience with general nutrition for adults, pediatrics and geriatrics. She has excellent clinical judgement and is able to assess patients thoroughly for micro and macronutrient deficiencies and prescribe appropriate medical nutrition therapy for patients with cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, kidney diseases and various wound stages.  I would have no hesitation in recommending Kerah as a nutrition professional to my family and friends.”
